Congratulations! You’ve installed ScriptRunner for Jira Server. There are two main ways to navigate to ScriptRunner in Jira:

Navigating from the Administration Menu

  1. Click the Cog to the right of the top ribbon to open the Administration menu and select Add-ons.

  2. ScriptRunner is visible in the sidebar.

  1. Press the keyboard shortcut gg. A search dialog appears.

  2. Type ScriptRunner into the search and press Enter to be taken to the ScriptRunner Browse page.

Alternatively, you can select one of the related options, such as Built-in Scripts.

Where Else is ScriptRunner?

Outside of the Administration menu, you can find ScriptRunner working in a few different places:

  • Workflow Functions: powering some scripted functions like validators and conditions behind the scenes. See a list of available ScriptRunner workflow functions under the Workflows tab.

  • Mail Handler: expanding on Jira’s built-in mail handling capabilities, allowing you to run scripts when a message is received.
